This is na absolutely wonderful bakelite dress clip with gorgeous color & elegant art deco (1930’s) design.The entire clpi is bakelite, except for the metal clip on the back, of course. Fantastic ktf redorangeblack bakelite dress clip designer signed. The stepped fan shape is coolred vivid red-orange with marbled swirls. The black accent, at top, has a high dome shape, which looks fantastic against the deep color of the piece. This is signed ktf with the t in the center, but much larger than the k & f, done like a monogram, so the designer’s actual initials are probably kft, which is unfamiliar to me. The metal toothed clip back is fan shpaed as well. The metal clip has dark age spots in some areas, but it is only usperficial & the clip is secure & the hinge is good. The bakeilte part is in beautiful & excellent condition. It is a gem & measures about 2 1/4 inches across hte widest part from side to side & 1 1/2 inches up & down.
