Wow! I really loved the movie Fearless. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Jet Li deliver some award winning performances in this movie.

I also think Shido Nakamura was famous! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie.When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.

I think Jet Li and Shido Nakamura worked wonderful in Fearless. The spectacular supporting cast includes Jet Li, Shido Nakamura, Betty Sun, Yong Dong, Hee Ching Paw.

You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

Despite voluminous protest and nitpicking criticism from loyal fans of the original 1978-80 TV series, the 2003 version of Battlestar Galactica turned out surprisingly well for viewers with a tolerance for change. Originally broadcast on the Sci-Fi Channel in December 2003 and conceived by Star Trek: The Next Generation alumnus Ronald D. Moore as the pilot episode for a “reimagined” TV series, this four-hour “miniseries” reprises the basic premise of the original show while giving a major overhaul (including some changes in gender) to several characters and plot elements. Gone are the flowing robes, disco-era hairstyles, and mock-Egyptian fighter helmets, and thankfully there’s not a fluffy “daggit” in sight… at least, not yet. Also missing are the “chrome toaster” Cylons, replaced by new, more formidable varieties of the invading Cylon enemy, including “Number Six” in hot red skirts and ample cleavage, who tricks the human genius Baltar into a scenario that nearly annihilates the human inhabitants of 12 colonial worlds.

Thus begins the epic battle and eventual retreat of a “ragtag fleet” of humans, searching for the mythical planet Earth under the military command of Adama (Edward James Olmos) and the political leadership of Laura Roslin (Mary McDonnell), a former secretary of education, 43rd in line of succession and rising to the occasion of her unexpected Presidency. As directed by Michael Rymer (Queen of the Damned), Moore’s ambitious teleplay also includes newfangled CGI space battles (featuring “handheld” camera moves and subdued sound effects for “enhanced realism”), a dysfunctional Col. Tigh (Michael Hogan) who’s provoked into action by the insubordinate Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff), and a father-son reunion steeped in familial tragedy. To fans of the original BG series, many of these changes are blasphemous, but for the most part they work–including an ominous cliffhanger ending. The remade Galactica is brimming with smart, well-drawn characters ripe with dramatic potential, and it readily qualifies as serious-minded science fiction, even as it gives BG loyalists ample fuel for lively debate. –Jeff Shannon

Covering two DVDs and over three hours, Vintage World Series Films: Los Angeles Dodgers covers five championship years of the Dodgers following their move from Brooklyn to the West Coast. Beginning with 1959 (a 34-minute film narrated by future legend Vin Scully), it’s a time capsule of Dodger history, from the dominance of pitchers Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale to the speed of Maury Wills to their 1981 breakthrough against the New York Yankees. Then in 1988, the Dodgers upended the powerful Oakland A’s (led by Bash Brothers Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire) after a storybook home run by gimpy Kirk Gibson off A’s closer Dennis Eckersley. Also key was the pitching of Orel Hershiser, who won two WS games after setting a major-league record with 59 consecutive scoreless innings during the regular season. It would have been nice if the set had included the Brooklyn Dodgers’ 1955 championship, and the constant MLB logo in the corner of the screen seems like an unnecessary intrusion. –David Horiuchi

Rize - How to Watch Quality Movies Online

The riveting documentary Rize explores the physically astounding Los Angeles worlds of clowning and krumping–both heightened and spectacular styles of hip-hop dance. With roots in breakdancing and the furious response to the Rodney King beating, clowning was launched by Tommy the Clown, a former drug runner turned children’s-party-clown, with brightly colored jumpsuits and a psychedelic afro wig. To gather attention, Tommy began to gyrate and writhe in the street; before long, he was not only getting gigs, he’d inspired dozens of other clown groups, all with their own spin on face make-up and Tommy’s dance moves. With a little cross-pollination from stripper dance moves and a good dose of aggression, clowning begat krumping, which resembles a cross between an epileptic seizure and ecstatic possession–what one practitioner calls “ghetto ballet.” In addition to dancing that will make your eyes pop, Rize interviews dancers like Tight Eyez, La Nina, Lil C, and Miss Prissy, building a portrait of a subculture, culminating in a dance battle between clowns and krumps called BattleZone V.
