Just a few surface nicks here and there (see photos). I would rate the front rim an 8.5/10. The bead groove is like new on this front rmi and there are no hops to it. On the driev side there are approximately four 3/4 sections and one larger section where it has been work off (see photos). Hub front smooth and looks like practically new. There are some minor nicks and scratches to the glossy finish as well but these are pretty minor too. The bead groove is worn on this rear rim and there is a very slight hop in one spot (about 1 on a scale to 10). This came from hitting a rock hard i think. At this same spot the rim edge got bent a little but i bent it back (see photo). I religiously replaced the front and rear brake pads every year whether they needed it or not. Thees wheels came standard on my 2002 specialized s-works hardtail. I raced with these maybe about 4 times per year since i started riding the bike in the spring of 2003. I used them mostly for riding around southeastern wisconsin and northern michigan trails and a couple of races in colorado. They were off maybe by a 1/16 on those occasions. Front truenses at about 98% true? I keep my brkae pads approx. 1/16 or about 1mm away from the rim at all times. Rear trueness at about 96%? A slight hop in one spot and on wobble. These wheels are really ligth and i instantly could tell wheel when i rode them for the first time.
