Wow! I really loved the movie Snake in Eagle’s Shadow 2. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Yuen Yat Choh deliver some award winning performances in this movie.

I also think Hwang Jang Lee was skilled! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie.When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.

I think Yuen Yat Choh and Hwang Jang Lee worked wonderful in Snake in Eagle’s Shadow 2. The big-name supporting cast includes Yuen Yat Choh, Hwang Jang Lee, Juan Jan Lee, Huang Cheng Li, Shih Tien.

You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

Six hours of monosyllabic John Rambo high jinks, best savored in surround sound (for the bone-rattling explosions) and with your brain on pause (for everything else). Sylvester Stallone’s second signature character, after Rocky, a seething ex-Green Beret killing machine, went from Vietnam-vet victim in the original picture, First Blood, flipping out over the ingratitude of his beloved homeland, to a muscle-bound terminator in Rambo III, mowing down commies in the deserts of Afghanistan. You should consider bypassing the boxed set in favor of just the middle chapter, Rambo: First Blood Part 2, written by James Cameron and directed by George Pan Cosmotos. It’s the most balanced and satisfying of the three films: Rambo is dropped back into Nam to rescue some POWs, and the action builds steadily in scale and ferocity. Each fireball seems to be bigger than the last. Of all the recent headbanger action movies, only the first Die Hard offers more bang for the buck. The underrated character actor Richard Crenna (a standout sleazebag in Body Heat), as Rambo’s military mentor and staunch defender, is the series’ secret weapon, providing some welcome human ballast. –David Chute

Summary of Challenge of the Super Friends - The First Season:

Challenge of the Super Friends is the ultimate animated all-star contest of good versus evil. The original Super Friends (running from 1973 to 1977–Wonder Twins and Gleek anyone??) was made up of the greatest DC Comics superheroes fighting together to uphold justice for all mankind. Overall, it was a pretty good show, but getting stale very fast. In 1978, the superhero animation bar was raised high when the first (and only) season of Challenge of the Super Friends hit the Saturday morning circuit. Immediately these 16 episodes made up the best that Super Friends had to offer for one reason alone: the creation of the Legion of Doom, banding together the 13 most sinister villains of all-time from remote galaxies. Led by the sinister genius of Lex Luthor, the Legion of Doom was dedicated to take over the universe, and only the Super Friends, led by Superman, Wonder Woman and the Dynamic Duo, dared to challenge this intergalactic threat and bring them to justice.

There is no denying that animated superhero shows have come a long way since Super Friends. The Challenge of the Super Friends is very ’70s in presentation, riddled with inconsistencies and drawing mistakes, and allowing heroes to fly even if they couldn’t fly in the comics. However, there is no denying the staying power of the stories, its concept, the superheroes/villains pairing and its overall charm. Included in this set are a couple of nice features, particularly the superheroes/villains biographies, each with their own mini-video. There is also a good, brief documentary of today’s comic book and TV show creators reflecting on their impressions of Challenge of the Super Friends and its influence on their careers. If you want to take a trip down memory lane to the Hall of Justice or the swamps of the Hall of Doom, you will not be disappointed by this set. –Rob Bracco
