2009-12-25.1915 Danish Krag Military Bayonet Scabbard Unit Mkd. Offered here is an original danish model 1915 krag military bayonet with its original leather and steel scabbard. The bright steel blade measures 18 long and the handle adds another 4 1/4. The condition is low excellent. The leather is in good condition, but there is some leather shrinkage, so the blade goes in a little tightly, and the leather just at the top of teh steel tip is starting to separate and is nearly off. The wood handle has no chips, cracsk or loss. There is a serial number stamped in the lower part of the handle. The bayonet must have been reissued at some time, as there are two sets of markings, the first having been crossed out.There is an even surface rust to the handle that is nwo more like a brown patina. 1915 danish krag military bayonet scabbard unit mkd swords.
