2009-04-09. Old Antique Silvertone 1220 Shortwave Portable Radio. Sears silvertone 800, model 1220 (1960 date on schematic). 4 bands. 2 shortwave, 1 longwave adn 1 broadcast band. 4 bands 190-410 khz (lw), 532-1610 khz (bc), 1.9-6.5 mhz (sw), 6.3-21 mhz (sw). All around nice condition, antenna complete adn not bent.I got stations on all bands. Radio old antique silvertone 1220 shortwave portable radio. Early transistor model using 8 germanium transistors, some are socketed. Takes 8 c cells. Hsa tuned rf amp. Battery pack cracked, but will work with a rubber abnd around the ends. Schematic included.
