Rito Terminal - An Extraordinary Movie

Journey into the realms of magical realism as indigenous beliefs and native culture come face-to-face with the modern world. A photographer visiting a celebration of the patron saint of a small village community loses his shadow and is drawn into a world of witchcraft and superstition. During a traditional funeral ceremony, a spiritual exchange causes him to lose his sense of the convictions that bind him to the “real” world. Soon he is forced to confront the question of what is left behind when you submit, unconditionally, to progress as he becomes a trespasser into realms spiritual and sacred, where reality is denied by the senses.

Wow! I really loved the movie Secret Agent. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while John Gielgud deliver some award-winning performances in this movie.

I also think Peter Lorre was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie.When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.

I think John Gielgud and Peter Lorre worked wonderful in Secret Agent. The great supporting cast includes John Gielgud, Peter Lorre, Madeleine Carroll, Robert Young, Percy Marmont.

You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

The Standard Deviants - Pre-Algebra, Part 1 - Available For Free Legally

The intrepid Standard Deviants, a troupe of young performers unafraid to shamelessly ham it up in the cause of making difficult academic subjects memorable, turn their attention to “The Pumped Up World of Pre-Algebra” in this DVD. Using lots of examples and flashy computer graphics to illustrate them, the cast jumps into the basics by answering the question “What is an integer exponent?” The rules of exponents are explained, and these initial segments are followed with a review. The basic format is followed throughout, with the concepts of prime factorization, roots, fractional exponents, and inequalities being covered with a variety of techniques, including some skits and jokes bad enough to serve as brilliant mnemonic devices. This subject matter doesn’t sound like anything fun, but the cast does its best to explain things thoroughly, and the high production values make the content visually appealing on the screen. The DVD format lends itself to a feature that presents what are essentially on-screen flashcards showing formulas, and a “Pumped Up Exam” can also be administered, with the viewer answering by using the buttons on the DVD player’s remote control. An academic panel oversaw the production to ensure that the math is solid, and this is as entertaining a treatment of pre-algebra as could ever be expected. –Robert J. McNamara
