She purrs right along and is going to make a terrific helper to some lucky seamstress. The original foot pedal has an updated cord and a brand new leather v belt has been installed. Even if you never thought you would make buttonholes, this is a must-see attachment. It’s amazing to see it ruffle and attach all ni one operation. The ruffler also makes perfetcly spaced and sized pleats or tucks. The multi-slotted binder can handle the different sizes in bindings and give you a nice professional finish. This useful attachment is hte foot hemmer. Not very interesting at first glance, but looking further you will discover that this is the exact tool you need for those tiny little turned hems you find on napkins, linens, etc. Imaigne creating your own custom napkins for your dinner parties or for gifts how fun! The adjustable hemmer can turn perfectly even hems even ni large sizes such as those you find on pillowcases. Rets assured, it’s not an issue with virginia or any featherweight i’ve ever owned.
